The nursing home of the Zollinger Foundation is located in Forch, on the edge of the village high above lake Greifensee. The facility stands out with its modern buildings surrounding a beautifully designed and well-maintained park. The foundation offers 76 rooms – including 16 double rooms – as well as a dedicated apartment for people living with dementia with 10 places and 45 senior apartments offering comprehensive services. The Zollinger Foundation follows a deliberately diversified model: from home care services (Spitex) to senior residences and long-term care, it accompanies residents throughout their life journey, always focusing on interdisciplinary collaboration, individualized daily routines, and a wide range of activities. New technologies are valued as supportive tools and are purposefully implemented to ease the workload of staff and enhance the quality of care. 

 

At the heart of nursing and support is the individual: every resident is cared for personally, professionally, and with respect. Particularly noteworthy is the strong dedication of the staff, who work in a modern environment with passion and deep respect for the individuality of each resident. 

 

Around 250 employees value the open, people-centered culture of the foundation. Trust, team spirit, and the opportunity to contribute their own ideas define their work. At the same time, the management stands out for its strategic clarity, strong execution, and efficiency. Processes and standards are intentionally designed to relieve staff from administrative and logistical tasks, creating more time for meaningful interaction with residents. For example, a service robot and centralized dispensing systems are in use. 

 

The culinary offering – complemented by the on-site Zollinger Beck bakery and the public restaurant GUSTAV – is highly appreciated by residents and visitors alike. Varied, high-quality meals can be enjoyed in the dining room or on the floors. Thanks to a digital ordering system between the nursing and kitchen teams, the kitchen can flexibly respond to the individual dietary needs of residents.
