The Nursing Home Assessment Instrument 360 (NH-AI-360)
We asked ourselves how we could sustainably enhance the quality and reputation of nursing homes through a comprehensive label built on a standardized and efficient assessment. This led us to develop the “Nursing Home Assessment Instrument 360” (NH-AI-360), the foundation of our revolutionary approach to measuring the quality of nursing homes and senior residences.
Based on our long-standing consulting experience in the field, we developed 100 criteria across 4 dimensions. Together with industry experts (such as Prof. Dr. François Höpflinger and EHL), we validated and weighted the criteria.
To become a certified member, a nursing home must achieve a defined level of fulfillment across all four dimensions – nursing & care, leadership, hospitality & services, and infrastructure.

The Audit
Two trained LNH auditors will be on site for two days to assess the quality of the institution using the NH-AI-360. The assessment includes a tour of the facility, structured interviews with the various relevant stakeholders, an analysis of key performance indicators, and a tasting of the culinary offering. At the end of this thorough process, the results are presented. If the institution meets the required standards in all four dimensions, it becomes a member of the LNH community.
